My Account
How do I create an account?
We have made some changes to the subs hub to allow users to log in and manage their account more easily. To activate your account, please navigate to https://www.themagazineshop.com/login/ and scroll to “Activate your account” section. Enter your email and password and click “Activate account”. Once in the logged in area, if you have used the email address with us before, you should see your associated subscriptions. If you do not see your subscriptions, please view the advice for “How do I link a subscription?”
How do I link a subscription?
Linking a subscription enables you to see and manage all your print and/or digital magazine subscriptions. You may wish to do this if you have, for example, purchased your subscription offline.
Login to your account (please see “how do i create an account?” if you haven’t already got one). Click on the “link subscription” in the navigation bar:
- Select your publication
- Enter your order/subscription number and postcode. Your order number is a 10 digit number beginning with '4' and can be found on the magazine polywrapper.
- Click 'Register now'
How do I change my name or address?
You can change your delivery, billing and contact address at any time. Please note, if you use the same address on more than one subscription, updating your details on one account will cause your details to be updated across all linked accounts.
In order to change your address, log into your account and navigate to the “Addresses” section in the navigation. Here you will see a list of your subscriptions and their associated addresses. Select “change address” and enter your new details and save the form.
For magazines which have already been shipped, you cannot change the address.
Where do I find my subscription/order number?
Your subscription (also known as order number can be found printed on your magazine poly wrap. It will also be on each of your renewal letters. It usually starts with 4 and is 10 digits long. If you can’t locate your number simply call on 0344 543 8035 from the UK, 1-877-531-1767 from the USA or +44 (0) 1604 251 466 from overseas.
How do I renew my subscription?
We will send you a combination of letter and email reminders before the end of your subscription. To renew your subscription online, login to your account and using the navigation, go to “Your orders”. Here you will see a list of your subscriptions. Click “manage” and then “renewal”. Select the option you want and click “Renew subscription”. Alternatively, you can call customer services team on 0344 543 8035 from the UK or +44 (0) 1604 251 466 from overseas to take advantage of your exclusive offer. Please note, if you have subscribed via Direct Debit, and continuous payment methods these will renew automatically unless cancelled. These continuous payment prices are valid for one year; after which they are subject to increase. We will write to inform you of any increase in your subscription price.
How do I flag a missed issue?
Login to your account, navigate to “your orders” and click on “Manage” on the affected publication and select “missing issue?”.
How do I see when the next issue is due?
Login to your account, navigate to “Issue calendar”. You will be presented with a calendar and a drop down selector which defaults to all publications. If you want to see a particular publication you can click and select. An orange dot beneath the date denotes that a publication is published. Click on the date to see the issue details.
How do I change my name or address?
To check the status of your account and to ensure your subscription has not expired, please login to My Account, once logged in you will be able to manage your subscription online.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
We cannot be held liable for gift cards once activated, which are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged, or any credit amounts on such cards.
No change will be given, but the balance can be used against further purchased on the site. Credit remaining on the Gift Voucher can be viewed in Your Account.
Gift Vouchers and unused portions of these expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
Gift Vouchers cannot be used against purchases payable by continuous payment or against purchases of further Gift Vouchers.
Multiple Gift Vouchers cannot be used in one transaction.
Gift Vouchers cannot be used conjunction with voucher code promotions on site.
Gift Cards purchased online have fixed denominations
Gift Cards are only redeemable for products online at www.themagazineshop.com excluding Official England Football Association, Official England Cricket Board and NFL programmes.
Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights. If any product purchased with a Gift Card is exchange or refunded, any money owing will be added to the balance on Your Account.
Payments
What payment methods can I use?
On our website you can pay using direct debit (UK only), credit/debit card, PayPal or Amazon payment. We can also accept cash/cheque, a standing order or set up an invoiced or continuous credit card payment through our customer services team.
Can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription please call on 0344 543 8035 from the UK, 1-877-531-1767 from the USA or +44 (0) 1604 251 466 from overseas. Should you wish to cancel your subscription it will be cancelled on expiry of the current term which will not be refundable other than in exceptional circumstances. Standard (i.e. non-trial) Direct Debit subscription rates are fixed for one year; after which they are subject to change. We will inform you of any changes to your payment amounts.
Please note that if your subscription includes an introductory gift, the gift will not be despatched until payment has successfully been processed.
I have paid for my subscription by direct debit, how frequently are the payments made? Will I be notified each time a payment is taken?
We will deduct one payment per term, for example if you purchased a 6 month Direct Debit subscription we would take a one off payment within 2 weeks of purchase and then again after 6 months. The first direct debit payment will be indicated in your subscription acknowledgement letter, which will typically take up to 10 days to be delivered from the date you placed your order. Trial offer payments are taken from your account typically within 2 to 3 days of order confirmation. If you would like to know the exact dates that money is due to be taken from your account, then please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.
Can I request a refund?
Should you wish to cancel your subscription it will be cancelled on expiry of the current term which will not be refundable, other than in exceptional circumstances.

Delivery/Shipping
When will the first issue arrive?
For both UK & Overseas orders, your first issues can take up to 8 weeks to arrive after the initial order, although it is often far sooner (depending on how close the date of order is to the next issue's mailing date) To view the on sale dates, please check Your Account
Subsequent issue delivery times vary depending on your location and the magazine you have subscribed to. For UK subscribers we strive to deliver all magazines on the publication date. We kindly ask all UK customers to allow an extra 5-7 working days for the delivery of their magazine before contacting the Customer Service team.
Overseas subscribers will receive their copies depending on shipping method and location.
We are working with our suppliers to deliver your subscriptions copies as quickly as possible and existing print subscribers from these countries should have received an email detailing how to access their magazine digitally. If you have not received this email please contact customer services at subscriptions.team@haymarket.com with your surname, country and magazine for the details to be sent to you.
My issue hasn't arrived this month?
Though we make every effort to ensure all our issues arrive promptly, sometimes they can be delayed or go missing. If your magazine doesn't arrive 5 days after the on sale date, please contact us. Our customer service team will check your address details and arrange for a replacement copy to be sent to you straight away.
My magazine has arrived damaged?
If this occurs, please contact our customer service team. Once contacted, one of our agents will arrange for a replacement print copy to be sent to you straight away. Alternatively, we may offer a digital replacement issue.
I've stopped receiving my magazine subscription, what should I do?
To check the status of your account and to ensure your subscription has not expired, please login to My Account, once logged in you will be able to manage your subscription online.
Alternatively, you can contact our customer services team by calling us on 0344 543 8035 from the UK or +44 (0) 1604 251 466 from overseas and one of our team members will be able to look into your account for you to find out the cause of this matter.
Gift Queries
If I'm giving a gift subscription, do you send anything to the recipient?
No, all communication will be sent to you to pass on. If you purchase a digital subscription or bundle, you will receive instructions in your confirmation email and you will need to forward this to your friend in order for them to activate their subscription. When their subscription comes to an end, without being renewed, we send them a letter to let them know they have received their last issue and an option to renew for themselves should they wish to.
I have purchased a gift subscription and would like to send a gift card to the recipient, how can I do this?
If you provide your email address, we will email you our electronic gift card within 24hrs. If we don’t have an email address physical gift cards will be sent out via the post; so allow 2-3 days for the UK. Overseas can be up to 14 days depending on the region.
My subscription included a free gift but I've received something different. What do I do?
We occasionally send alternative gifts when we have limited stock that has become “out of stock”. This is only when we are not able to order more from our supplier and we do state this in our terms and conditions when we have limited stock. We try our best to match with similar gifts and of a similar value. Please contact customer services on 0344 543 8035 if you have any further queries.
My subscription included a gift but I now have my magazine and haven't received my gift, what do I do?
Please allow 35 days for delivery of your gift and first issue. The gift will be sent under separate cover from the magazine. Should we run out of gifts, you may be offered an alternative gift – there is no cash alternative. If you have waited longer than 35 days, then please contact customer services on 0344 543 8035. Gifts are currently on available on UK offers.
Security
Is my payment secure?
This website uses a Thawte security certificate for all online payments. This ensures that information is kept private while in transit between our web server and your web browser.
Email is not a secure media, so please do not include your bank or payment card details in emails to us.
